Description
- With only 558 models built and significantly fewer left on the roads today, this far more sought-after than its sister model, the Series I, is finished in Seychelles Blue coachwork with matching dark blue leather interior and Wilton carpets. The body, especially front wheel arches, carries several age-related marks and the front bumper has some misaligned and perished rubber parts as well as the odd stone chip on the front. The front grille and other chrome elements are in good overall condition. Mechanically, it appears sound and starts/stops when requested although the exhaust (front box, received during loading) we are told this will be rectified before the sale. The Cooper Lifeliner Classic II tyres are all in good condition and whist the bodywork certainly requires some 'tlc'. This appreciating classic can certainly be revived without too much trouble. Internally, there is some delamination to the internal woodwork as well as some creasing to the front leather seats although no real damage and the rear seats are in excellent condition. It benefits from the original Pioneer KP-292 cassette player as well as a separate Blaupunkt FM tuner. The electric seats and windows all work as they should and, combined with plenty of handbooks as well as stamped service history for the first ten years, this always represents a testament to how well built these most elegant of Bentleys were.
